It was an interesting thing to attend a job fair, especially when it was more for a general overview of different jobs being targeted at different sectors.

The job fair was held at the Liverpool city stadium, where this would attract a lot of potential employees. But like I have said before, most of the jobs there were from sectors that was not part of the creative sector at all. Some of them were from the engineering sector, which was intersting to me as this is something that I have a very deep background on, but now would rather focus on something such as Graphic Design.

I asked one of the staff there to see if there was an employer that was Graphic Design based, and they said that they only have one that was listed. Of course, I went up to them and asked if they had any positions for a summer internship or Graphic Design position, to which they responded with "we already had someone get hired yesterday for the Graphic Design position" but they were happy enough for me to submit details.

I also had the courage to ask other employees there to see if they have any more Graphic Design interships or placements, to which they responded with mostly a no but some of them gave me some pointers, one of them also told me to email them my CV to see if they can get a placement for me or something to do in the summer.

​

But there was a company that was specialing in some electrical engineering positions and they would have liked to see my CV, but I just did not have time to create one at all. 

 

Anyways, I did not realise that Graphic Design jobs require someone to know someone to see if they know a position or something. But overall, I think that if I look more online and also ask others to see if there is anything out there for me.
