Health and Safety In the Studio - 08.12.22
Now, when shooting in the studio (or any work environment for that matter) you really have to think about the health and safety of yourself and others. Providing an up-to-date health and safety document for the studio is essential, as it is a working environment and will need to be assessed for risks.
This can be shown in a risk assessment before using the studio and can be referred to when using the studio (and even after) to ensure risks are minimised and dealt with before, during and after using the workspace.
I tried to come up with a risk assessment before using the studio and have shown it below. I have taken inspiration from the HSE website for the document's template, as this is a formal assessing body that the college (or any work environment) needs to abide to when in that environment.
As the risk assessment is a working document, the document will be changed if another risk has not been noted down and assessed when using the studio.
