Feedback for Photographic Practises - 25.11.22

We had feedback for the photographic practices. This was just feedback to the different ideas and shots that we have done so far.

The lecturer and I discussed what I can do with regard to all my shoots.

for this project, I need to just think of the subject matter for this project

Being Human Project

For this project, I need to just think of the subject matter for this project as most of the photos that I have taken are street photography, but at least I can talk about what I can improve on and try and get another shot on the street.

For this, I wanted to focus on the very aspect of what it means to be human. What we do in our everyday life and I wanted to document that through a photobook.

All I need to do for this to compile all my best work and to comment on what I can improve on.

Studio Shoot

For this project, me and the lecturer were looking at how some studio shots were made and how some of them were done. I also talked about how one of my ideas was to have a setting where I would try a studio shoot where I add murder weapons to a studio setting and try and dress up the scene as a studio shoot. The lecturer also suggested that I can do this at home as this would be difficult to bring it murder weapons to shoot in the studio with.

A Day in Life Of...

For this project, the lecturer liked my idea of having my Fiance as a subject. The lecturer also said that we can take photos throughout the month, not just during a 24-hour day.

He also liked the way that my photos do not fully show my fiance's face and this is something that I could try and do throughout the day in the life of project.

Overall...

The lecturer was happy with the type of work I am producing and it is best to keep going with what I am doing and to try my best to talk about what to improve on with regard to the equipment used, the shot composition and anything else to improve on.

The only main problem that sort of needs to be addressed is the layout of my blog site and the way that I can segregate it into the different ways that an examiner can look at it and not get confused about it.

Feedback from the Lecturer

Below shows the feedback from what I got from the lecturer regarding the interim assessment.
