Development of Journal - Part 2 - 06.02.23

The photo below shows the finished print that was created with the etching plate. This does not have any shading as that requires a different process, which will be talked about in Unit 22

This would be both the back cover and the front cover for the journal and would be repeated on the back. I think that the idea of repeating geometric shapes has potential, but I would need to experiment more with the idea. 

Going back to squares representing tasks, I started to think about combining the scribbles and the squares together and experimented with these ideas. First, I started to design a square by scribbling the same way the background scribbles were done on the posters. I then moved this over to illustrator, in which I image-traced the scribbled square and then made a pattern using illustrator.
