Contact Sheet for Photos and General Project Updates - 20.04.23

As I talked about in the other blog post, these are the photos that I took for the trip to the Philippines. As you can see, most of the photos taken are of the street photography type and have posted some of this work on my Instagram page. I have clearly marked the photos that I wanted to use from these sets of photo

I was also thinking about being able to use Tagalog instead of English due to having inspiration from being around the country and being on holiday. I will add updates with regard to poster wordings for Tagalog instead of English.

I also want to think about promoting this sort of thing around the Philippines, as I feel like being on holiday inspired me to take this littering concept over to them. I know that the wording is interchangeable as I can just translate it into English if needed as English is a much more universally well-known language compared to Tagalog.

The reason why I wanted to do something for the Philippines and within the Tagalog language is due to me being originally from there and I've always admired my roots from the Philippines. I have family there and seeing how they live their lives and how generally dirty the place is is really eye-opening. I know that there is not much that I can do here, but I hope that my posters can show everyone else in the world to take care of their own rubbish and also ignite a movement in the Philippines as every contribution to a world where everyone is reducing their carbon footprint, their rubbish by recycling, reducing and reusing things is a giant step forward to a carbon neutral world.

I also feel like it is the duty of better-developed countries such as the UK to help out developing countries to try and be more environmentally conscious, as helping out developing countries such as the Philippines and others will push for the world to be carbon neutral.
