Poster Experimentation - Part 2 - 3D Anaglyph - 18.03.23

For this part of the journey, I was itching to see if the whole idea worked and so spent some time trying to get the different screen prints to essentially work in photoshop before needing to spend time on the 20th waiting and then seeing if the whole idea worked.

I proceeded to record everything that I had done during this and will type out the things that I found out.

I found out that the first problem that I will be facing is layering. The layer that has been technically been printed first will the prominent colour for the image. I figured out that printing the Magenta layer first before anything else could result in a better photo compared to losing the image through the Cyan layer and then just having a blue image throughout.

I had used masking layers in Photoshop as masking the layers would enable the layer to have transparencies throughout and would only show the parts of the layer that would have ink on and thus, being able to replicate the screen printing process.

All in all, this might work or might not and is best to try it out and experiment IRL rather than using Photoshop techniques to try it out.
