8-Week and Quick Career Action Plans - 21.03.24
Our tutor gave us a template to see what we need to do for the future and to fill it out with our strengths, weaknesses, and anything else we think we need.
My 8-week and quick career action plans are shown below, detailing a lot of personal and professional outlines that could be valuable to my career in the future;
I have also done a more detailed look at myself and have done a SWOT analysis of myself and to be able to list my advantages and disadvantages.
I have not been able to fill the rest of the document in as I need to start finding out where I could find this information, also seeing that I will be moving back down to Bristol and as this is also a working document, I have not filled this in yet. But I do know that talking to locals, looking online at job listings and also setting up a freelance studio are things that I can do in the meantime.
SMART Goals;
Specific – I want to become a Graphic Design Art Director or Creative Chief Officer
Measurable – being promoted to that level
Achievable – Within 5 years, I want to be able to be at least a senior graphic designer or a VERY GOOD Junior Graphic Designer
Relevant – Yes, as this would give me more responsibilities, but enable me to pursue something that I feel like I can do
Timed – Around 5 years
