For this project, I will try and design 2 or more pages of an Arts, Design and Wellbeing magazine that is aimed towards the Southport College’s students. This can be aimed at looking at how to look after your mental health to your physical wellbeing.

For my topic, I will want to focus more on men’s mental health and how we can try and remove the stigma within men or young men as being strong and independent as this is something that I have always struggled with, especially when I did not know what to do when I was younger and had no one to talk about my mental health to.

For this proposal, a question style might help me generate a more coherent outcome, in which this question is,

 

“Are men still surrounded by the stigma of being strong, Mentally and Physically?”

 

I will also try and add charities that support men’s mental health on the pages and to also research different art movements and designs that could bring a unique look into men’s mental health and to also show people that removing this stigma is the right way forward.

 

The general layout of the magazine might change from when we start compiling everything together and thus, there is no set magazine layout from the start of the project and set style, which we are all free to try and experiment with different layouts and designs.
