Problems with the TIFF Files - 28.02.24

Well, there were problems with the TIFF files that I had gotten from the scanner.

The image that I would use for the cover for my section was not able to be opened as there were other files within the TIFF files and this would make the TIFF file so big that I could not open it in  Photoshop or any editing software. This happened with the front cover TIFF file. The other files that I used for the main article pages were okay for me to use, I just needed to export them as separate TIFF files.

To fix this, I needed to export the image as a PDF file from the print options built into the Windows photo viewer and then from Adobe Acrobat, export it as a singular TIFF file, which still gives me the highest resolution for the front cover.

Looking more closely, there seems to be some artefacts within the file, as it has been changed from one file extension to another, but I think that this is fine and it is at a high enough resolution anyway to not notice any major pixilation within the front cover.  The texture of the layouts and the use of paper also helped me in this case, as this added to the way that the article is not perfect like everyone’s mental health (especially in stigmatised men) not always having to be perfect.
