For these experiments, I wanted to experiment with wordings and phrases for my part of the magazine alongside the typography that I can use for my sections of the magazine.

 

I wanted to go for a heavier weight for the design, as this is a heavy problem that men still experience, and I think that having hand-drawn lettering might make it look amateurish.

I think that symbolising the heaviness of the problem might be a good idea to bring forward and to also focus on the typography more compared to having photos or images of the problem. 

 

I also wanted to decrease the letter spacing between them as this could signifiy not being comfortable and open with their mental health, compared to other people that are clearly open with their mental health problems. 

 

I also think that it makes the headings for this look more professional and thus, will either keep them like this or to move forward and experiment a little bit more at another time.
