Photo Shoot 2 and Website Development - 26.10.23
For this photo, we were able to get two of my classmates to do the photoshoot as we needed some photos of people having fun on a day out, which was one of the mood boards that were within the mood boards that was given to the photographer for our group.
In the middle of the photo shoot, the person whom we had arguments with told us that we were not able to show a meaningful story for the shoot and we needed more shots that were meaningful for the posters. I also had to agree with them, but at the same time, we needed shots that could tell a story so that we at least could experiment with them.
But our classmate who is the designated photographer for this project said that it might be a good idea to try and shoot shots that are a little bit more commercialised as this is essentially a commercial shoot.
So, after receiving this and then being told that essentially, all of the photos that were taken were not usable, we had to think on our feet for the rest of the day. For this, I asked our classmates who were the models for the day to try and act a little bit more casually and seeing that they needed someone to represent the male audience too, I was in some of the photos as well, seeing that I was there and had to model, as well as direct them on what to do as well.

I also think that the group felt a little down after this, but at the same time we have no more time to experiment and try different things and thus must work with what we have.
During this week, I also tried to find some inspiration for the website which can be seen below;
I also started creating the website as well, which can be seen by scrolling through to the right of the gallery or by clicking the gallery.
As you can see, there is not a coherent style now due to the posters not being made, only the colours. But at least with this week, I was able to start experimenting with the photos. But if there was graphics done yet, this would be a problem as these designs for the website might not be able to be coherent with the design. This is why I think that trying to work with a bigger graphic design team would have been a good idea.
